The second part of my 20 minutes in France. Spent a few more days on the skirts of Paris with family in Sartrouville.
Visited a nearby area Quary on the Seine.

Finally made it to Paris on the eve of Black Thursday transit strikes.
JZ walked me to Gare de Lyon to make sure I'd get a train home.
Made it to the airport on Black Thursday thanks to my generous uncle who drove me there at "stupid o'clock" watched the sunrise at CDG.
Watched a fantastic documentary about the ainu people on the plane.
Back in SF I slept for hours, nothing could wake me.
I posted these a few as I went along but here is the whole set of pictures documenting the Woodcut reduction process...
Made some sketches.
Began carving
Original sketch is in my notebook lower left corner. First color carved and ready to go.
First color printed
Begin carving second color, Mochi likes to be involved.
Printed second color
Carve out the last color.
All carved and ready to print the last color.
And here they are drying in our living room.
And here is the finished product. The image is about 12"x12" in an edition of 10. The color varies slighty through out the edition.
